Updates : 2004Thursday, December 30, 2004O_O I'm so sad I didn't do more pages, like...three every week... but I didn't get as much done as I expected to. I've been developing stuff behind-the-scenes, but not putting anything for you to see immediately... I haven't even remodeled the Development section like I meant to by now! That makes me sad!! I'll get more done during the semester...because that's how things always seem to go. XD;; Anyway, I updated the links a bit. I'm gonna come up with a Ronou wallpaper sometime, too...because I need one. I mean, he's the main character. Monday, December 27, 2004 I update with a blab. Because I have nothing else (unfortunately) although I have up to page 43 sketched. You'll be pleased when I start up again! Anyway, I've redone some links and such, as you'd see...by going to my links section! And looking to the left.  (I've got up more banners, yey.) I've been considering taking the voting banners off the side, since they're all in the Support section anyway, but I know you people are lazy and do not want to click an extra time to vote for me. Of course, it does slow down loading time but... buh. (Then there're the snowflakes, for you IE users... which I will remove...whenever I actually get to experience real snow. p_q *hates this state*)And now, a poll... because I've been thinking of something. Most comic sites with great layouts don't have their most recent comic on the front page. So... be sure to answer! Based on the response, I could come up with a slightly cooler and more compact layout. Now, I have more vote incentives up! I should have put them up sooner, but I forgot. TWC: Page 1 of the minicomicthing I did for my Design Fundamentals I class, with Brittney A. If you missed the front and back covers from last time...too bad. (XD They'll be in the gallery sometime next month) This page was arse to make. Probably my least favorite, although I like the whole thing overall. Buzz: Page 2. But anyway, it's Christmas Eve! I hope all you celebrating Christmas get your stockings stuffed and your tree, uh, crammed. Crammed with gifts. But most of all I hope you're spending time with your family, etc., and remembering the reason why there's Christmas in the first place. And to the rest of you, I hope your holidays are as grand! Thursday, December 23, 2004 5k pic up! Thankyoooou! I got my secret santa! But you know what else is cool?! I was chosen for a second fanart randomly! THAT, my friends, is awesome. I never get chosen for things like that. My first secret santa is cool (in an almost literal sense); I'd post it up here so you could see but I got the 5k pic there... so here's a thumbnail!  And go here! >:O! Y'know what my other secret santa was?! I got 10 different poses for a Mune 3D model!! How cool is that!? This is indeed a day of awesomeness!! I feel very good right now. ;_; Wednesday, December 22, 2004 Sooner than I'll know, I'll be writing 2005! Today I sent off my secret santa. As of this moment I haven't gotten mine, but I hope I do get it soon. I linked to my site on the links section, so huzzah. (I also added more things to the art section.)I wanted to put up the 5k pic today, but I spent too long on this omake page to take it down already. XD Although it'll be up on 3 other sites, but. Anyway, I made two small changes to it since I originally put it up...so. 5k pic goes up tomorrow, and a holiday/new years pic Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (haven't decided). You might ask, "Senshuu-san, when are you putting up a new actual PAGE?" To which I would answer...I have no clue. ~_~;; Tuesday, December 21, 2004 I've had wonderful sleep lately! I haven't been getting many pages of the main storyline done, and I apologize for missing updates... I've just been feeling uninspired and I need to get gifts out before January anyway. But! Today I have for you my interference in the fight omake running between three of my comic*luvs, ASPS, Earthsong, and Redemption! I have a few notes. (1) I made everyone's logos look horrible. I'm sorry ;_____; (2) Everything in the second panel is out of proportion. And while this is slightly intentional, still...XD;;; (3) And I feel bad because I only drew Willow*blob once. I'll make it up next time. ;-; But yeah. You need to look at the omake archives on one of those other sites to understand this. I guess. I realize that I hit 5k too. I'll put up my 5k pic in a couple of days. :3 This page was amusing in color. Southern Crown has green slime saliva. Saturday, December 18, 2004 Well! Still learning to eat all over again. But I feel generally fine, after such an operation. Some people don't even talk...I talked while sedated and had my mouth stuffed with gauze. My classmate Brittney wanted to use some of my charas so we did this story set way from now...not spoilerish but very future. I did all the art and she did the lettering, borders, things like that.TWC: The front cover. Original title! Because...I don't know what happened to my GB. I forgot its provider and everything. It was ugly anyway. But yeah... Friday, December 10, 2004 Ohkaaaay... Despite my best efforts, staying up until 4 AM Thursday Couldn't have made it better... Anyway, yay for an update. I may be watching movies and/or dying this weekend, so I might not deliver another page right on Sunday... not if I feel the same way I do right now, anyway.(In random news, yes, the semester has ended, and I am glad. No job pour moi, so... 4 weeks to spend wasted...on ice cream.) ...Oh, how could I forget. I made a logo. omfgyey!? I like it. I have yet to integrate it with much, but you can expect me to do that...very soon. Also expect a few "special" things. ;3 Random: How do you tilt text diagonally in Photoshop 7?! It's an anomaly. Truly. I use PSP to do it, and PSP bastardizes smaller fonts. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 Senshuu updates. Senshuu updates with a picture she likes, because she hates her filler now! Tuesday, December 6, 2004 My Fundamentals final is tomorrow, and quite frankly, I think I will suck. Oh well. I always do things better than I say I will, so I'm really not worried. ...But enough about that! I have journals for that crap. What I'm REALLY updating about is the new COVER! Yes. For my comic-done-by-arcs-rather-than-books/chapters, I have a cover to the Prologue. It's about as simple as the Prologue itself. To see it, click on the arc's name on the Chapters section. I plan on making all the covers monotone (must remember this). You can do cool stuff with hue/value in monotone... which I obviously didn't do for this cover, but. In other news, I'm in the process of redoing the Characters page and coming up with a logo...since having one rather than using a plain font would really make me happy. (What makes me sad is, I thought of a good logo for my future side-comic in about 10 seconds...) I sure got rambly here... Sunday, December 5, 2004 Well, today I received my comic for the Annual Webcomic Secret Santa, as did everyone else who signed up. ...Yep. I gotta finish that as soon as I can. On another note, on top of this, art for myself, and gifts for others, I have a lot of things to finish for this site, like...a new Characters image map. A map of Seldra. (Maybe even interactive.) The covers for the prologue and Arc 1. Perhaps a background image! And I need to think of a logo and such. Desperately. Luckily I have an entire month to do so, but I'm also thinking of hooking a small job and finishing a lot of my games and anime. Whoo. So, I'm thinking of having one big day to queue up page sketches, work on all that other technical crap, and etc. And then I can have an Anime Day... and a Game Day... Oh yeaaah. Look who has no life. Classes are officially over Tuesday afternoon. Friday, December 3, 2004 Well, it's closer to Christmas. It's closer to Mune's birthday. Coincidentally, it's also closer to the day I get my wisdom teeth torn out, which is the same day as the aforementioned event. Isn't that unfortunate. Anyway, there's no update today, obviously... And there won't be Sunday, unfortunately, although looking at this filler is grating on my eyes. It's Finals Week, and well, I need to finish stuff. I could possibly poop out a comic early next week--perhaps Wednesday or something--but don't quote that. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 No, nothing special here. I just modified the About sections and FAQs slightly, because I noticed that I tend to neglect those sections even after things have changed...such as entire site layouts. I'm pretty sure I had something else to ramble about concerning webcomics in general, but I forgot at the moment. I will say this, though--courtesy of my college's high speed connection, I was able to finish VG Cats' archives today. That comic is pure, unbridled GENIUS. As if you didn't already know. I think I should stock up on bonuses/fillers/art, because I want something for you to look at every Friday/Sunday... Sunday, November 28, 2004 No real update! But I have been working on the next page. It's biiig. Instead of an update, you get a filler (thus interrupting the story :D) and a reformatted link section. omgyay? This filler is...self-explanitory... and I've only linked sites I actually keep up with now... which aren't very many, I know, but I'm going through a lot more. () So, more to come? Oh, but how could I forget this? There's a new piece of fanart from the wonderfully creative Nové! I love it so much, I'm gonna link to it right here!  I also recently received my first piece of White Lightning "fanart"...  Isn't that great? Let's not forget about Yasha's sketch, which you can see by voting for me on Buzz or TWC. :3And now for a random ramble, because you might as well get something while you're here, even if it is pointless. Publishing! Yanno? I wouldn't consider working towards getting published for a very, very, veryveryverylongtime. Though lately it's very easy to break into Amerimanga right now, my stuff is far from manga (imo)... I don't even tone. *lazy* But I don't think I'd consider publishing as.things.are.now. unless someone came up to me and went "omg publish plz? *offer*". And even then, I'd have to go "...hold on, let me redraw it all." Because seriously, I know how I could redo everything I've done up to now and plan to do in a manga form. I just don't for my own purposes (web COMIC, not manga). But I could...if I just bought every How to Draw Manga book in existance. (And even then, drawing everything by yourself is something. Backgrounds, etc...) But yeah, in case whatever point I was just trying to make was lost, I wouldn't go near publishing where I'm at right now. This is my fun thing. This update would have gone up at 12:30 AM (central) had it not been DOWN. And so would have modifications to the last update, about two days ago. But oh well. Here we have our first greyscale page, thus ending my horribly unprofessional appearance. The color will be a little...less in the next page. I might ditch any dark/light shading (such as shining reflected on clothing) next time. I really dislike this page now, since I originally drew it almost a month ago, but oh well. I may not update on Sunday. The work just keeps coming, folks. Wednesday, November 3, 2004 I voted! Did you? Who knows what will happen now. And who cares. I just fixed a few slight errors. I might be changing some graphical things around the site near Thanksgiving or definitely in December. (I'm also gonna launch another sidecomic somewhere between mid-December and early January.) Well, since they're the two easiest days for me, and since I really want to get on with this thing, the comic will now be updated Friday/Sunday. And I definitely can't have page 031 finished by this tomorrow, so. Now, I updated the comic, which is nice--since I haven't had much time to work on it lately--but I also got two lovely pieces of fanart from Yasha and Kelsey (as early birthday gifts! <3 18 this Sunday, w00). Renaming my first arc, I also have a new cover for it, which can be seen on the chapters pages. I thiiiink that's it... don't go crazy, now. If there're a few small glitches in the layout, I'll be fixing them. September 24, 2004 This month is passing quickly~ so sorry I've been lacking in updates. ^^; Lots to do. Three weeks of college--and college is the reason why I didn't crank out an update on, say, Wednesday, or at least Friday. But here's one finally... Aren't you glad?!?! ...[/hyper] August 15, 2004 Wow, I hated this comic before I inked it. It didn't come out exactly like I imagined it animated in my head. That and I'm trying a few poses I hadn't before. (See: panels 3 and 4. :() I tried to make up for its overall crappiness with the last two panels... as you can see, I enjoy drawing Sab very much. In other news, I'm preparing another update to the development gallery...kinda.Random: If anyone knows how to make such a layout as this WITHOUT using iframes, let me know. >> I'll be happy to let you re-do it; me and my limited html/php/whatever knowledge... August 11, 2004 My other update, as promised. Not sure when my next will be, but...yay. I get even lazier, as this comic is toh-tally devoid of background. It really conveys the silence though, doesn't it? Yeah, there's been SO much dialogue lately. >P Oh, this is my official 20th comic (since I started at 0), so uh...yay! August 8, 2004 An update, as promised. Yay! An eventful one! And with this appearance comes a new Character profile. I think I mentioned drawing covers for the prologue and arc 1 sometime soon... well, I start college in 4 days, so I have no clue when I'm actually gonna draw them. ...I have a new comic for 3 days from now though, so. Yeah. (And I'm really close to 20 comics now. omg yay!) I updated art with something you've probably seen. What you should REALLY check out is fanart. I got a lovely new piece... My random section still amuses me. Oh, the music zip links don't work as of yet... I need to ask something before I upload them. August 6, 2004 Aww look, there's now a cute little Ronou on the update box. :3 ...If anyone can fix the sharpies, let me know. Also, I added a new Random section, because I'm bored. I got someone to voice one of the primary characters, though he won't show up for a long time. Anyway, don't abuse my MP3s plz. And I'll have another comic update on the 8th. And then the 11th. August 4, 2004 Well! Here's a bit less detailed of a comic. In case you can't tell, in the 4th panel, the snake kinda comes forward and Ronou falls backwards against Mune. In the background, White Lightning is panicing and running away. :B And the rest is self-explanitory! :D Yay, PG13 page! I've also updated the art gallery with a LOVELY pic today. GO SEE IT. OR I'LL EAT YOU. August 1, 2004 Well, all the July updates have been moved to older updates. And... new comic! This took really long to lineart. I'm starting to hate forests. And I really hate the first panel. Ronou and Mune look as gay as a boy and a girl can look. (He's helping her off White Lightning, btw.) At the same time, I want to pick it apart. Hmm... I'll never be able to draw trees well. I tried to be perspective-y in all 4 panels, and I think I pulled it off *somewhat*. And uh... Oh, I changed the font to Letter-O-Matic, because I was sick of Comic Book Commando. It's more...readable. I love it. And also... I've been practicing drawing horses. Hee. Anyway, ph33r the impending doom. July 25, 2004 OK, maybe I could crank out another comic! I think this breaks my record of 4 comics in one month. Yay! I should get out another one before this month ends! I am slowly perfecting how I create and line comics, so the next comic should be even better-looking than this one. Especially since the forest will require lots of detail. ...In other news, no one noticed I had a 1,000 kiriban up, but it was kinda sudden. Oh well. July 24, 2004 ...And so, with the successful and painless move to androcity, I am... very happy. Very happy indeed. I might be a little slow with the next comic... and I might make covers for the prologue and arc 1 instead of the next comic, although I really want to get this next part moving. Gonna fix it up a little more later. I also added a picture to the gallery and updated the contact, and slightly updated Ronou and Mune's profiles. Wow! And you'll notice a tagboard down below. Yay! And you'll notice that I've added myself to yet two more comic sites... it's craaazy. And I updated the links a little. I'm going to try to change the layout really soon, so don't kill me. July 17, 2004 No comic update again yet--I'm making this site look like it has actual content! OMG! So, I added really small Art and Fanart galleries, and added a different kind of archive that may be more helpful than the caldendar one. Yay! You might also notice that I've been joining a bunch of webcomic listings. Vote for me! I know this comic hasn't gone very far, but I have big plans! I appreciate every bit of support I get. One more thing. If you've signed up for my notifylist thing, it might not work. I'm trying to figure out why it won't. July 16, 2004 Ha, I'm on a roll this month! But not really. Anyways, as you see, Ronou's first plan has been cut a little short. And I had a little fun drawing some bonus things (one of which should have come with the last update...oh well.) Anyway, big update! I finally updated the Development Gallery, omg! I also put the World section back up, and...stuff! I updated the Minor Characters section, too. It's not much, but it's something. Yaaay! July 12, 2004 Let me tell you, this page was confusing but fun to do. It was going to be all cool and perspective-y, but I'm horrible at perspective, so. I might update the Development gallery soon (and I've been needing to), but only if I get enough sleep...z_z I also need to make more normal art. Anyway, we have a new comic today! And more peril! Yay! I plan on having the next few out pretty regularly, too...unless I enter a random slump, but that's not very likely right now. ^_^ Oh, by the way. Popups and stuff have randomly been appearing... I'm not sure why, but I'm sorry about it. >.< July 3, 2004 K, after a long (and slightly unintentional) break, I've decided to update again! I wanted to update the site's layout, but I need help for that. What would REALLY help is if I had someone to do site graphics and layout, but that would make me a lazy blob. () Not that I'm not one already. I mean, this update is four days late. Oh well, I'll try to update more! Just watch as the adventure begins! I'd also like to apologize in case my drawing/inking style changes with the next few updates. You'll notice it has a lot since November. Well, I'm gonna try to keep it more constant now. May 21, 2004 I don't know when I'll update the comic itself again, but it might be soon. In the meantime, I've updated the About sections, and well, most of the other sections, in a way. Very notable is the Character section--go see! I may update the developmental gallery and put up the art gallery soon, as well. May 15, 2004 Well, the last 3 days passed quickly. It's been busy for me, so I don't know how long this filler will be up, 'cos the next week may be busy as ever. (Graduating and all.) Enjoy this little backstory insight! May 12, 2004 Well, it looks like Ronou managed to beat the monster! Not to mention gain some EXP. But you must admit, that was pretty easy. As you can see, this comic's newer than the last few, as I just drew it a few days ago. (The last 3, I drew sometime in February.) I also applied more Photoshop-ish touches to them. Ooo. However, for the most part, the comic's gonna be solid black and white, unless I can find a free toning program. On Saturday I'm putting up a filler while I coordinate things, but the filler's gonna be nice. May 10, 2004 Most notably like the last comic, I drew this one quite some time ago. I'm updating again in two days with a recently-drawn comic, so never fear, for your eyes will stop burning soon. May 8, 2004 I drew this quite some time ago, but just inked it and stuff today. After the next 2 or 3 comics, there's gonna be a filler while I draw the first non-chibi comics. Whee! Ronou's first real monster encounter! May 6, 2004 ...well, I finally got the site running again. Though just barely. I've got a lotta things to get straight, so sorry if it's disorganized right now. I've got me an update for February the 13th that I never uploaded because my old server...would not let me log in. So I've finally uploaded it here... I'm changing my inking and drawing style again after this. Sorry for being so inconsistent, but I'll try to keep things one way now. February 8, 2004 I updated the World section with a bit of random info I keep forgetting to add in () and a map! Yay! On a random note, this new server has a cgi-bin directory. I might use that. Oooo. And by the way, new comic soon. *has to ink* February 5, 2004 >> << Domain switch! Last one go boom. Uh... Update soon? Maybe?
