Updated! Pages 109 and 110, Page Notes, vote incentives, poll, links, fanart

Two pages today, so make sure to go forward one too, and then read about it. Hey, an update every month, I'm on a roll! I'd like to say things would improve this December, but I'll still have a lot of personal projects to work on, not to mention launching Lost Dream, Last Kiss... so I'm not sure. But I am sure that every update I do for the rest of this scene (approx. 8 pages) will have two pages at once. I'll try. I'd like to; it'll be more interesting that way. In a few more pages this scene will get a lot more interesting.
The pages aren't 100% finished (I still have to fill those shelves), but I'm exhausted with more things to work on and will finish them later!

If anything looks screwed up around here, it's because I've been messing with HTML and doctype conversion. I have a lot of site revamping to do this December, too! By the way, the layout won't be so completely pink. I think it will be pink and green - after all, Millennium isn't really pink-y.

New poll is random. Just something to ask. New fanart is from Miru, who is awesome. See just how awesome she is? And it seems everyone loves Mune! Yay!
The new incentives, I think you'll like them. Buzz is a random design sheet I did for two characters soon to appear. TWC is the 77,777 kiriban picture. Why is the 77,777 kiriban more finished now than 69,691 and 50,000?! I dunno, spur of the moment. Much-needed practice. And I told myself long ago that I'd never be all fanservicey with Mune, but oh well. I'm not terrible. :( By the way, thanks for over 100,000 hits! I guess I need to add that to my kiriban list, too. XD Hahaha.

New links are The Awakened, Kittybot, World Break, and Ricoco Knights! The Awakened is mature, and damn addictive. I hadn't intended to read it all at once, but now I'm hooked. It's very cracked out, in a good way. Kittybot's the same in terms of addictiveness, it's grand, and has a very good opening. World Break is another one of those quality online graphic novels popping up. *drools* Ricoco Knights is adorable. Just look at its layout! Kyu~!
I should also note that a while back Ferril started working on Chevalier's Cross, which is now in the affiliate's section! I miss Wizards of the Violet Moon already, but this one's in color!

Updated! Page 108, Page Notes, poll

Placeless Links: Contest 1 Results, the Forums, the Oekaki, and
the Forum Update Discussion Thread!

Sorry I missed Friday. I had some volunteering to do, and then some work I'd forgotten about until after a Halloween party. Speaking of which, happy halloween! Snag candy and dress silly. Great excuse to cosplay! Anyway, this scene is a little boring until about three more pages from now, but don't worry. It's the perfect transition for practicing color. Read more!

Happy Halloween from Azki! ...What? You don't know who he is?!
This is a quick and sappy Halloween sketch I drew of the main chara from LDLK, Azki, and his pet Mislen as a black cat. Ignore that I made Azki way too girly here, and that I can't seem to draw people holding cats, and I hope you had a good day!

I changed the TWC incentive to a different Halloween-outfitted picture of me. Better, IMO. Smaller image though (thanks, camera). I should note that those are really clothes I could just wear to any fancy occasion...lol.

New poll, which is mostly filler! Two pages of him isn't much to respond to, but still. I remember back when Seiyun appeared and people were like "aww! adorable!"

Speaking of which, I'm getting an itch to redesign some Boomen. >3 Oh, and from the last poll, most people wanted finished pages than pages on time. Very good call. I'll do that.

The flash from a while back is on the Older Updates page for now. I'll find a place for it when I redo the site, which I think I'll just wait until December to do now. :P The forums are still down. I'll bring them back up later.

Updated! Page 107, Page Notes, fanart, links

WHOA, it's a page. A colored page! This is how it's going to be from now on. This is what happens when one gets tired of one's own mediocrity. Read into it!
I may still touch up the last panel.

This poll's still here, to see what you think. However, I'm going to try my hardest to have pages done on update day(s). By the way, when I redo the character page image, everyone's going to be dressed up and having tea! Hooray!

Addendum: LadyLuna's fanart. <3 Totally made me want to make some Millennium plushies. (Personally, I'd like one of Sabér!)

New links? Tales of the Traveling Gnome and Final Beginning.

The flash is on the Older Updates page for now. I'll find a place for it when I redo the site! The forums are still down. I'll bring them back up after the site's been redesigned.

Updated! Poll

Millennium is currently on hiatus while I work on art/commissions/the new comic/college projects.
HOWEVER, today we have this somewhat very important poll for you to be voting on right now! Vote quickly, 'cause I want to update with a couple pages soon. Depending on the results, it can be tomorrow or Monday/Tuesday. :D

Also by then, I should have started work on the new layout and the site for my new comic, which I've also been rabidly developing these past few weeks. It's taxing but fun! See new-comic-related images by voting.

The flash is on the Older Updates page for now. I'll find a place for it when I redo the site! The forums are still down. I'll bring them back up after the site's been redesigned.

Updated! Flashy Thingy

Millennium is currently on hiatus while I work on art/commissions/the new comic/college projects.
HOWEVER, today we have this little flash thingy I made for my buttons project! Have fun!

[ EDIT: I took the Flash lout. Look for it in Extras! ]

A flash animation should load in the space above. It'll take a little bit unless you have broadband. You have to wait for it to fully load before it works right. If it doesn't load at all, er, I'm not sure what to do for you. () Anyway, I would have made the animation slightly more animated and fun if I had more time (and patience at this time). But you will see more. <3 My next flash will possibly be a short animated clip of something LDLK related (that being the alt. comic I'm doing) so I'll definitely be posting about that, too.

The forums are still down. I'll bring them back up after the site's been redesigned. I'm doing a few pages and such on my break in a week, so expect bigger things then!

In other news, I turned 20 two days ago. It's weird. I still feel like I should be in high school, y'know? Except high school bit, hard, in comparison to college.

Updated! Announcements, Vote Incentives, Links

Millennium is currently on hiatus while I work on art/commissions/the new comic/college projects.
It'll likely start updating again once I've got a good bit done for LDLK. ^^ Also, I'm figuring out Dreamweaver so I don't incur annoyances thinking up more concise layouts for the sites. (No clue what I'm talking about? Check the old updates.) Anyway, you can vote to see what sort of things I'm working on right now. There's fanart for Sokora Refugees and Exiled Dreams.
Also, if you'd like to help me out by commissioning me, t'would be much appreciated. I only have one more open slot, though. Info here.

The forums are down until I figure out what to do about spam. It was getting...kinda bad.

You should probably be reading Fungus Grotto. Webcomics like this are the reason I put off Moon Puma. I don't have the artistic skill to do stories justice yet, not like that - but I'll get there! But my point is... this one looks good. And it's just starting, too, so you don't have a lot to catch up on or anything. I do wish there was more already. Again, a reminder of what comics should be.

Updated! Announcements, Pages 105 and 106, pages 104+103 completely finished, Page Notes, Downloads (Wallpapers), Vote Incentives, links

CONTEST RESULTS!
Finally?! <3

EDIT:
Got up Ferril's Mune fanart.
Also, I will be redrawing the prologue as soon as I figure out some things,
but I finally came up with an interesting way to do it. ^^

Another update space you'll want to read!

I finished pages 103 and 104 totally.
I posted pages 105 and 106, so be sure to go forward.
I updated the page notes on pages 103-106.
I added the new Mune wallpapers to the Downloads section in Extras. There're slightly different versions here.

I'll be taking a little break now. I don't know when it will end. I have a few pictures to make, things to tend to for both my sites (and a soon to be third site*) including layouts, and now my third year of college. ^^; When I get all my stuff sorted out, I'll continue here, but I can't really worry about this comic right now, as much as I love doing this.

That other comic I rambled about, Moon Puma, is on hold. Why? It's too big. It's not too long, it just got too big. I ended up really not wanting to mess it up. I'm not skilled enough to draw it yet. Luckily, when I am ready to draw it, it'll still be there, because I've really grown attached to it (and it is 95% written). ^^` So, I drew 10 pages and I froze...lol.

What's lucky is that I've created a new, much more lighthearted story that I won't worry about as much (though already I feel like overdoing things), because I really do need more than one story to illustrate. This one is a shoujo fantasy called Lost Dream, Last Kiss. On Buzz and TWC you can vote to see its second and third page sketches. I'm hoping to keep this one short and light, and I really felt compelled to do a shoujo-esque story sometime, though I plan on making it as unconventional as I can. The genre shouldn't be too bad for me, although there is some fantasy mixed in (which of course complicates everything ever). I'm having issues with creating and liking my work right now, but hopefully I'll learn a lot through working on both of these comics.

New links are Khadgaros, Soccer is Full of Cheese, and Pyraliss.
+ How could I forget Roza and the Horse Prince or Talismen? And now, Brink!

By the way, I would just like to say I appreciate all the support I get here. Really, considering how this comic started and what it's been through, I should be thankful to have anyone. Being in the webcomic world has introduced me to wonderful people and wonderful comics, and it's really something I'd never want to give up. ^^ So thank you for giving me even one look. <3

CONTEST!
The end draws nearer?! <3
You'll want to read this update blurb.

This page... I was so wary on working on it because it's not QUITE as I wanted it to be. But I don't dislike it. x.x I'm sure I'll like it a lot more after I've shaded it. I had fun drawing Mune's dad. <3 Things are weird and out of proportion, but I don't care anymore. 'Cause I like it. 103 still isn't done with the shading, but I resized it. I don't really incredibly like the next couple pages (or this scene overall - and believe me, it is necessary, but I couldn't make it more interesting), but I need to get through them.

However, I think I may go on a little break soon, because I've got to sort out my own personal art things. And while I didn't want to go on another hiatus when I just had one a few months ago, I feel it's necessary, and it's better than missing updates consecutively without any excuse. I can build up a backlog, work on my other projects, and not have to worry, because all this stuff taking up my time is a bit worrisome. Being a growing artist is killing me inside, but it's also so gratifying. (It's masochistic, really, it all is.)

So, once I finish page 106 (which is the end of this scene) and the new layout, I may be taking this little break. I hate not updating, but I also hate flat-out missing updates. I know things will be better when I come out of hiatus anyhow~ unless, of course, this semester (which starts in a half-month) smashes me in the face. I've only got high hopes. ANYWAY, now for stuff I've been working on:

+ Wallpapers! +

Today you vote on TopWebComics for the wallpaper versions (there're 4 sizes - one got cut off but you can deduce it once you vote) of this new Mune pic! Voting is good, 'cause it's the first of the month. I'll have a slightly different version of these available later.

You don't have to vote for these:
iMage (gag)
1024x768 | 800x600
This is a gag wallpaper created back when I made the current layout! XD Based on those iPod commercials, when that whole fad was going around the 'net. But I forgot about it! You don't know how much I love corny things.

Layout progress: random mock-up
Mune Layout Progress
Makes me sort of wish I ran a shoujo comic. Click for the full size. I'm going to have fun making this layout. It actually looks like a site layout.

New profile pictures! WIP. Sarn is my favorite. I wish Mune looked as good as in her new picture. D: STILL learning how to draw my characters.

I also fixed some things in pages 95+, made 99 look a little better. So I hope that all this makes up for missing updates somewhat. x.x Though amusingly I did 70% of this just yesterday.

Updated! Gallery, Vote Incentives

Hey! I still haven't finished page 104 or 103's shading. I like the pages, but I'm blah on it. Ooo, lack of confidence! Also, the past two weeks have been exactly like this:

Me: *blinks* *three hours have passed* ...

Luckily, I have this to show, which means layout construction begins soon:
Whee!
There's another version of this on Buzz. Anyway, the new layout is going to be uber. Also, I messed with the gallery thumbnails and shoved some unbearably bad old art into little corners of the site, aka directory indexes. I feel a lot better now. That 4koma from a while back is up now, too. I would have updated the dev galleries, but I realized I don't actually have that much to add yet. (Gotta work on that! I've got stuff to develop!)

88x31 200x40

Lookie, I made banners. As always, they're better than the last set... and very genre-misleading! I reccomend you update your link banners...if it's not an inconvenience. <3

Anyway, I'm working on several illustrations for various contests and trying to make them look not-bad so I can say I have a portfolio. One such image's WIP is now my TWC incentive; that is, the picture I'm doing for the Inverloch contest. I have a whole 4 days (today counted) to come up with a few decent things for ASPS's contest. *crawls back into art-hole*

Updated! Page 103 (lineart), Page 102 complete It would appear I am lagging behind on completing pages and my page queue. But good news! I'm working on other sorts of art? Millennium does take up a ton of my time when it comes to doing other illustrations, too, you must understand. Then there's Moon Puma. Of course, when I do finish those other pics, I'll show you.

So, this page will be finished later. Also, this page is smaller than usual, and so is 102. Let me know what you think. (Last results: 78% say color! Huzzah!)

Back to the topic of color vs. greyscale, if you still care to post (and please do, the forums could hardly be considered living). I'm starting to really like greyscale again, especially with this celshading.

Updated! Page 102, Vote Incentives

CONTEST!
Enter please?! <3
This page itself is kind of boring. I wanted to update it with 101. Oh well. I like it anyway. Shading coming later today.

Vote incentives: TWC has an updated Mune layout picture. This new layout's going to come off as shoujo. Guh. I like it a lot, anyway... yes, successful experiment. Shading the hair is bugging me though, and I'll probably redo the highlights differently. Buzz = remember that kiriban pic I'm doing for Kassie? Well, I'm still working on it... putting in tons of detail as you can see, and enjoying it so very much. You should really vote today, it's worth it!

Updated! Page 101, Vote Incentive, Links, Fanart, (Page 83 shaded)

CONTEST!
Enter please?! <3
Holy crap, a new page! On time, no doubt. Interesting! I wanted to cel-shade this and continue with the shading 'til 106 (where I'm sure it'll be color+shading from then on, yay!), so I'll probably do that and have it up tomorrow or Saturday. Done! Also, I shaded page 83, and it looks a lot better/makes a lot more sense now! Betcha thought I'd never get around to it, hm?

Forum update thread should you want to comment on the update somewhere other than the tagboard!

Oh yeah! I keep forgetting to add the new Ronou and Oien fanarts by Annakkah and Sharly! Silly me. They were on the oekaki! Yay!<3

Vote incentives: TWC has another Mune layout pic WIP that I'm actually going to use. Started disliking the other one, although I could have salvaged it. I wanted to go for something simpler, and also to try to get the windblown look right. I'm fixing her hair right now. Buzz = the original sketch for Sab in panel 4. Ewww.

New link: HERO. Unique and beautiful. I admire comics that bring something new around.

I've been writing some things into Millennium that makes it even longer but ultimately more interesting. The next scene for instance is now twice as long, and some scenes later in the arc... But if I think I'll enjoy drawing it, I'll write it in. My scripts have been untouched for a long time, and now I think I can freshen Millennium up a bit more. It's fun! I've a lot to look forward to. So do you!

Updated! Page 100 colored, Poll, Vote Incentives, Links

CONTEST!
Enter please <3
Other things I have no place for at the moment: teh Forum, teh Oekaki

Still no new page, but 100's finished. (And I just realized it's almost been a month since I posted it...:() I'd like you to vote in the poll now, 'cause it's sort of important, especially involving pages past page 105/106. ^_~ Also, page commentary (interesting?).

There's a forum post for the color poll should you want to discuss it in a place more permanent than the tagboard!

I'm putting more work into the comics so they won't be crappy. I'm building a page buffer for Millennium - sketching at least one page a day, so I should have 30-40 sketchpages by the time college starts up again. (Although I'll probably want to redraw most of them by then...) It's really a bad habit for me to draw a page a day before it's due. I'm also thumbnailing pages in advance so I don't run into any stupid layout problems, and so far it's helped. A lot. I've been inspired lately, and I'm gonna get both my comics on the ball! Which means you can expect an actual update or double-update Friday.

So, who inspired me? None other than Fantasy Realms! Yet another known comic on hiatus, but I'd wait forever for it. The pages are like an eyegasm (they could be frolicing in candyland for all I care, with art like that), and on top of that it's interesting! Woo!

Vote incentives: TWC has the sketch version of a new picture I'm working on for Moon Puma's header. There's actually the WIP version somewhere on my sketchblog. () I'm a sketch nut, however. Buzz has a few doodles I did while working on sketching page 104. Totally figuring out how to draw Mune's father, and throwing another father in while the boredom lasted...~

Updated! Forum/Oekaki/links to random things

CONTEST!
Enter please <3

So, I still haven't got an update for you, and page 100 is still unfinished (although it's 95% finished, which is more finished than it was before). I haven't read any new webcomics to link, or much of anything. (No new manga rants.) I've also been randomly exhausted over the last few days (though it's better now). And the RSS feeds are probably messed. So just what in heck have I been doing?

Besides misc. artsite things, there's

Sora wo Sawaru
which is up with blabby production notes and sketches. It's also listed on OnlineComics. I decided not to make it a totally independent site... that'd be dumb. (The sketches for this make me cringe now. I could do it better in a less amount of time. *sobs*)

This comic tutorial I did with Moon Puma page 2. MP production is going horribly slowly, but I should be back on track later this week (along with Millennium of course). I hope someone actually gets something from this. I might go add some things.

The Forum. It's not specifically Millennium-ified, but there's a section for it! It also doesn't have any unique templates yet. I'll work on that. Join and chat it up maybe? (Oh yeah. I'm still making forum edits. Generally everything should be a-okay, but if anything suddenly screws up, let me know.)

The Oekaki. A long time back I hosted a poll asking whether or not people would sign up. The poll was a bit on the negatory side, but I've been wanting a personal oekaki myself, and I don't have to worry about storage or bandwidth should it ever become active. ^^ It was relatively simple to set up, so if you feel like drawing, maybe you could stop by.

ALSO, 4th of July. A belated happy one to you, my fellow Americans. (I threw firecrackers at people. What did you do?)

Hopefully these things may occupy you until the next page.
I've begun thumbnailing the next pages so I won't sit around dumbfounded by panel composition errors, which actually makes things a lot slower than they should be. I really can't stand it when I come out disliking my pages (which is another hold-up factor), and lately my mind's vision has come out blurry, so I'm taking extra measures to make sure we're all satisfied.

Updated! Page 100, contest! vote incentives

First things first: Contest! Woo!

I hope lots of people enter. It should be easy/fun. <3

I missed several updates and this page is unfinished, too. Some 100th page - but it will be in color/shaded, or shaded at the very least. (VERY partial to greyscale now.) I've learned to eradicate certain things that slow me down, but I've got to control my artistic impulses (and finish kiribans/gallery pics/gift art/so on) in order to get stuff done. I think I'll try to build up a buffer here so I don't keep missing, since it's something I've never really done (having a backlog of pages, that is). The days go by so fast, and I want to do so much.

I keep forgetting to mention something! The lovely enchantma of Majesty is Oien's official voice! Isn't that nice?! We've got to make some fun clips for the site. Hehe~

Random manga rant: I've been eating up Death Note lately. I daresay I haven't loved a manga so much since my early days with Gravitation and Excel Saga (which I feel bad for ignoring now, but). If you know about the series, you'll agree when I say it's incredible, and entirely engrossing. If you don't know about it, pick it up. You'll be rewarded...greatly. Really, you'll go to sleep at night feeling more content for it.

Updated! Page 98, page notes, vote incentives, links

This page amuses me so much. XD I wish it was 100. (Technically it IS the 100th page...) It wasn't going to be like this originally. Inspiration strikes! Read into it.

The next update won't be Monday, needless to say, because while I'm doing some other personal projects I'd like to make page 100 special. <3 ALSO, I need to prepare something for a nice contest I just had an idea for. :D

This week I finally checked out two fairly known webcomics, Emerald Winter and Death Wish! They're both very cute and have very interesting moments. I want to see more though...waugh! *stalk*
I also linked Tales of Pylea, which has gorgeous men lineart. <3 Yes...very good.

Also, there were a couple of comics I read a while back that I wanted to mention. Victim12 went up a year ago and hasn't updated since. What existed of it, however, is quite interesting, and I do hope it starts back up. FAMIB... I read some of it, and it made no sense. But I liked it. I'm not sure how long it is, but I plan on reading through it all.

Random manhwa review time!
I'm going to attempt to become a review writer at the Tokyopop website, since the chance has been offered! Of course, what I'm about to write here is just myself blabbing off the top of my head, but I feel quite inspired.

Last Fantasy. If you haven't read it yet, pick it up. It's a fantasy parody, yet at the same time very serious. The art is detailed all over - even the random gags. No crappy chibis, no flimsy lineart - the art, the backgrounds, everything is over the top detailed. The story is written by three people, so you know it's not just some joke; and the art is done by Yong-Wan Kwon. Though the cover doesn't say much for it, inside all the pages are, as I said, crazy detailed. And the expressions he draws - they're CRAZY. They're as crazy as the comic's humor, which hits all my funny buttons (which is actually a hard thing to do sometimes). It had me gaping and laughing on a quite frequent basis!

This has instantly become one of my inspirations towards working on this webcomic, and it's very worthy of your money, so buy it damn you!

Updated! Page 98, page notes, links

If Oien were a little older, she'd be the type to say to Ronou, "You're a virgin, aren't you. <3" Oien gets all up into people's stuff. Two down...Sabér to go. Poor, poor Sabby. (PS: Don't you know? "Eek!" is Boomaneese for "OH MY GOD!") Read into it!

Life.1 Entertainment was linked! There's a bunch of animated stuff and comics there. A great variety of things indeed!

On a random note, I have no clue why things like Sabér's accented "e" don't show up on my sites. I had a theory but it apparently didn't help, so maybe someone who knows more about sites can tell me. EDIT: Fixed it! Something I should have known. Yay! I just thought it was weird 'cause it used to work. () Heh!

Updated! Page 97, page 96 fixed, page notes, TWC incentive, links

EDIT: Fixed things on pages 95-97. Monday page will be a bit late...gwoooor.

Hey, it's still Friday in my timezone.
The new update schedule is Monday/Friday. This will be permanent (at least, for a while), as in no more random changes! So if I miss updates, you can pillow me!
Notes, yay. Do you know why I have a notes section? 'Cause pairing them with each page is annoying to me. Kinda disrupts the flow. Anyway, I also fixed something in page 96. There's one more thing I have to fix though, though. I haven't been thinking things through. x_x Which is why I need to rehaul 95... Your next pages will come with more detail.

New Links = The Amulet and Venom Fang! Vemon Fang is quite professionally lovely, as well as promising. In fact, you should keep watch of this, if you like Venom Fang and shounen-ai that's actually good.
By the way, I finished reading Shades of Grey, which I linked last update. It's the most soul-rockingest comic I've read in a while. I think I'll reread it soon! Emotional depth, yes. Anything that makes me tear up = yes.

Monday, June 5, 2006
Updated! Page 96, World sections, vote incentives, poll, links

EDIT: Yeah, so the site was seriously screwed up for a while early Wednesday. Large mistake on my part. Won't happen again.

Still leaving my art site link here for a bit! 'Cause it'd still be nice if you went there. Although there're links on the links page and the bottom of each page, too. ()

Also, I'm going to bring up the Frappr map again, because it needs more people! :O And it's slightly lost amongst all the things in the Extra section.

Anyway, stuff here, and stuff here. Yes, I actually updated the World section. And I'll update the Development gallery soon. Almost forgot it existed. Anyway, every World section has been added to. I added lots of info that will be useful soon, or at least might be interesting to you.

New Links = Wizards of the Violet Moon, Shades of Grey, Return to Eden, and Sinfest! WVM is so far only two pages, but it's promising, I think. Feel it! The next two have been reccomended by many people! I haven't finished reading either of them, but I'm enjoying them so much. O_O Grey = love. Sinfest is something I've been wanting to read for years, and I finally started. Never has wrong been so right, and besides, I adore Tatsuya Ishida's style and handlettering abilities.
EDIT! I forgot to mention Salad Days again. Because yes, you SHOULD definitely be reading it.

All these new links, and more are sure to come next update. These comics are reminding me what's so great about the medium. <3

Now that all that's out of the way, please please vote. I promise I'll stop being a bum and stop missing updates. And there's a real poll, too!
Ah, almost forgot~ thanks for over 71,000 hits~~~<3

Updated! Page 95, links

ANNOUNCEMENT: Artsite. Go. Yes. <3

This is so far my sole source of exposure, so if you helped it'd be great! I'm working on getting up more content than my Illustration portfolio. >> (Severe lack of fantasy.)
This would be a large contributor to why I've missed updates. Now that it's up, though, I should be a little more consistent. (Then there's the urge to work on Moon Puma...)

Also, rather bland site mirrors at Drunkduck and Smackjeeves, because I got bored. Unfortunately, if this site ever actually were to go down, the SJ mirror wouldn't work 'cause all the pages are linked here. Gotta fix that sometime.

Anyway, this page has notes, not that you need them. All you who were putting your money on the Cinas, well, it seems neither side won this time. Just pretend that first panel is good, hmm?

New Links = VRIN and Average Jane! I haven't read much of VRIN at all yet, but I like what I see so far! Average Jane cracks me up, and it's CUTE. I'm also keeping my eye on Salad Days... you should, too, I think.

No new incentives or poll, but I encourage you to vote anyway. --EDIT ~ Actually, here, have a 92% finished Moon Puma page.

Updated! Page 94, vote incentives, links

Maybe you could read about this page and the last, since they're both done now. The last page has been shaded and thus looks better (on top of its lineart being imrpoved), and I put an explanation for a few things on it in the notes.

I have several reasonable reasons as to why I've only updated twice in the couple of few weeks, the first being that I really haven't felt like it. A large factor of this is working on the script for Moon Puma and starting its first few pages. Another large factor: The fact that I spent a good deal of last week downloading E3 footage and getting back in touch with my gamer side. (Dear gods I want the Wii.) Also, after what has been around four years (sure doesn't feel like it), I began playing Tales of Phantasia again. I love this game. It has to be one of my favorite RPGs (right up there with Mario RPG, Earthbound, and Final Fantasy VII), and definitely is my favorite classic. I've also been playing Seiken Densetsu 3. I <3 Kevin.

New Incentives: Speaking of Moon Puma, Buzz has the lineart of the second page. A lot more detail is going to be in the color, and the backgrounds will be lineless.
And Speaking of Tales of Phantasia, this week's TWC hosts another link - to the fan-gag comic I started four years ago during my Phantasia obsession. And the link works this time. For some reason I never deleted the site, so you get to see how horribly I made things back then! With bad chibis (a la this comic's start) and cliché injoke-born gags! You should know my jokes ran dry after 10 strips. Gag comics = not for me.

New links: Alpha Luna is awesome. [It's also Mature.] A detailed transformation scene - I've been wanting to see that in a webcomic for a LONG time. LOVE. The Realms of Aegis is new and has wonderful full-color backgrounds! Very distinct! Clone Army Manga hosts several comics that look really good at a glance. I've only gotten a chance to look at Penny Tribute so far, which is newish but I already like it.

New poll: a placeholder until I can think of an actual new question. The old one's run long enough.

Updated! Page 93 lineart, vote incentives

EDIT for Tuesday the 16th:
New shoutbox, since Shoutmix shat out on us! I should have changed shoutboxes a long time ago. New page Thursday or Friday. Sorry.

Sorry this is late AND unfinished. Things came up, and I didn't really feel like working on the page anymore. ^^; I need to refocus my motivation on my comics and start moving along again. I've got to get back into the groove, so if things are shaky for a bit, bear with me.

New incentives: You'll be happy to know that I HAVE been working on something - my artsite. Not everything is organized on there yet - some of its content still needs to be revised, moved, edited and whatnot, but if you vote on TWC you can snoop around a bit.
I don't really have many more things for incentives except a random fuzzy thing I drew a few weeks go for Buzz.

Updated! Special 4koma! Incentives! Fanart! Links!

WELL, the semester finally ended, and I think my finals went well. My Illustration portfolio came together well, which means my artsite will be up soonish! Yay! My other finals drove me insane, but they're done now, and I'm happy. I've really missed doing this comic. Your continued support over this seemingly long hiatus has made me very happy, too! <3

About this 4koma: It's a late thing for Webcomic Day! Yay webcomics! ...The page's a bit cliché, but it's still a fact. My favorite panel's the third. Mune sort of gave up cooking so often after a point where everything made Ronou sick, though. ^^`
I probably should have researched Online Comics Day before doing this, because it's kind of really different than the other comics, but I also just did this to have something here for the official hiatus-end. ^^``

Before I blather on, check Sharly's shiny new Mune fanart! Also, my new links are Bah Bah Black Sheep and Strugglefest! Check them out!

New incentives, yay: Both Buzz and TWC are things from the portfolio.

Updated! Nothing??? (Temporary Hiatus?) (+ Fanart?!)

UPDATE pour Thursday the 13th!

You should really check out Kai's fanart.
>>> <<<
Sarn looks like a rug. A dalmatian rug! How adorable! <3 Kai can't keep her hands off of him, it seems.

HEY! It's a hiatus. I've got final projects to do. I wouldn't go on hiatus if they were just tests, no. I'll be back updating by the end of April or beginning of May at most. I've got a lot planned for around that time, for this comic and other things. (Summer = artsite, site for To Touch the Sky, and a new webcomic...?!)

<3 April 21-23 I will be at Middle Tennessee Anime Convention... If you're going let me know for the love of goodness, because it's still a pretty small con and it's nice to have people come or see someone there.

Things you can do while I'm on hiatus:
-Download the archive zips? :O
-Get familiar with the characters through the Interviews, or with the world through the World sections! And give me incentive to update them!
-Read the below comics!
-Or all the links?! (Yes! All of them!)

Updated! Ronou Interview, archive, links

Didn't get to finish a page, but there's this:

The Ronou Interview! Yay! What's he got to say?

I've actually had that interview for quite a long time, but just finished the set of Ronou icons. Admittedly it would have worked better if I had posted this long ago, before page 75 or so - oh well. You can probably notice a style difference in icons...maybe. I think these came out weird (Ronou's hair won't work with me!), but they're better than the originals.

The Prologue and Arc I are now available for zip download! Yay! Arc I is sort of large, but it shouldn't be a problem for DSL and cable users. (If it is too problematic for dialup though, I'll split it in half, hmm?)

New links = Kuro-Kuro Paradise and Shades of Veil! I don't know just what to say about those two, besides "I like 'em"! Go in cold like I did; you'll enjoy them.

Random: I hope the most recent page didn't mislead anyone about Ronou's intelligence. "Waffles" don't exist in the Millennium world... or if they do, they exist under a different name.
I might have to go on short hiatus soon. I really want to do the next few pages, but college has only a few weeks left, and things are kicking up. I want to focus on classwork, and having my mind off Mil is a good start. I have so many picture ideas for the gallery though...()

Updated! Page 92, Buzz Incentive, Links

Storm's coming, so no shading yet. I also updated the Buzz incentive and the links. I kind of changed the archive's browsing (smallish modifications) to make it more convenient, and it took a while. I'm happy with it!

Mike's purpose as a cameo is revealed: the crazed traveler that tells you to turn back (and then disappears).

New link = Binded Fate! I was going to link this last time but lost the url. I wonder sometimes why no one ever told me about this comic! It's short so far, but awesome. Cracks me up, and the art's nice to look at. Well-done! I may be linking more of SW's works in the next update!

Updated! Page 91, Extras, added RSS feed, Vote Incentives, Page Notes

Sorry again for lateness. Classes starting up again kinda throw me off, and I overvalue sleep. I kind of wanted to post 91 and 92 at once, since 91 is kind of boring. 92 needs a bit of revamping though.
Mike's cameo continues! What a mysterious guy. Needless to say, Ronou's creeped. On a different note, I'm planning on redrawing page 0 (aka the very first one) sometime soon! Huzzah! Also, added tiny notes to various pages throughout the archive~... Not to be confused with these. And! I never mentioned this, but I moved links to the Millennium Frappr map and Comixpedia article to the Extras section... Fun random stuff. I should update my actual sections...

Ryan North is one of the coolest people ever. This should be common knowledge, but I'm saying so right now because of Rsspect. Thanks to Rsspect, Millennium now has an RSS feed! The link's at the very bottom of the site with all that other stuff. There may be some kinks while I ensure my content's functionality, but the feed is already pretty functional anyway, so yay!

New Vote Incentives: Make sure to vote, 'cause tomorrow begins a new month! TWC sports a sketch of the kiriban picture I'm doing for Kassie. She said "Draw Sabér!" And I only had vague ideas until this came up: I'd wanted to draw younger Sabér for a while. I thought I had another Mil-related picture to post, but er, I don't, so Buzz has a 40% random sketch I did for Illustration class.

NEW AWESOME LINKS = Verardi Famiglia and Rapscallion! (Whose site might be currently down?) The first I just read last night. STYLISH. It works. The second I read a while back and forgot to link. Very clever, very amusing, my words don't do it justice, go read. It might also be good to mention that these links are mature, so beware foul mouths and/or violent killing. Mmm.

Random: You know what awesome series has been owning me lately? Avatar: The Last Airbender. I LOVE it. It's very much influenced the future parts of this comic (when it gets more serious, lol), and it's just so well-done. Good animation (swear it's the best non-Japanese anime-influenced style I've seen on TV), good story, good events, good characters, fights (oh gosh the fights), creatures, environments, ahhh. I wish there was a movie. But yeah, it's worth checking out, very much, especially if you like fantasy, or this comic. Because it's so much better.

I'm talkative and link-happy today!

Updated! Page 90, Buzz Vote Incentive, Poll, Page Notes

Truth be told, the more I stare at this page, the more disturbed I am. Next!
Can you spot the cameo? Hint: He's from here.

The new buzz incentive, you might have seen already some places, but voting's nice anyhow. <3 Especially if you haven't seen! Get your daily dose of Sabér and chibis. <3<3

Random: Today officially ends Spring Break, and I got next to nothing accomplished. I think it should last two weeks. But I have no regrets, because I enjoyed this week. However, the time between now and semester's end is going to be craaazy.
Anyway, I had the fortune to watch Princess Mononoke Saturday. I've got so much Miyazaki*love in me right now. My socks were thoroughly rocked. *bursts* I think it was the highlight of my week, as I really didn't do anything but play video games (which in itself is replenishing)...

Updated! Page 89, Fanart, Vote Incentives, Poll, Page Notes

Sorry for the missed update, again! I was too busy enjoying my week... (With Mario Party 5 and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. I <3 games!) I assure you I won't miss Monday since 90 is already 85% finished.
Anyhow, I like this page, and I hope you do too. I also like the next series of pages, which I hoped to get through this week, but we'll get to them!

Aquilo gave me fanart! Yay Thank You! <3 I wish I could draw Mune that pretty. It defies me!

WCL seems to have gone kaput, so bully on it! I moved the last thing intended to be its incentive to TWC. Vote away, 'cause I might change it again tomorrow.

Updated! Pages 87 + 88, Vote Incentives, Page Notes

Sorry for the missed update. I spent a good deal of Wednesday and Thursday mending my broken sanity with Tales of Symphonia. I probably could have gotten a page up Friday, but I needed that break. (Too bad I didn't get to do a St. Patrick's Day picture. Sarn's already green for the occassion! And of a decent age, too!)
Two pages today, don't forget to go forward. Rambling. Too bad there's no suspense in what was tugging Ronou around. I also finished 86. I was thinking of stopping with the shading now since my lineart's not-crap (it's the reason I started in the first place), but shading really does add substance. And one day this will be fully shaded, etc.... maybe. Or toned. Who knows. This is easier than shading with line, anyway.

Vote Incentive Fun: TWC was a result of boredom. WCL is good for you who like little development things. (Er, it seems to be down right now.) Buzz is good for you who are curious about Oien, who I've mentioned a few times somewhere!
I was going to put up a new poll, but I don't know what to ask at this time... hmm!

I'm going to try to get out some extra pages this week! At the same time I'll be trying to get up my personal artsite (finally). So if I fall short of my extra-pages goal, that's why. I'll accomplish something either way!
Random: I've been rewriting things lately. I've already rewritten the prologue (which is definitely longer than 8 pages), and I actually rewrote some things in the whole Fukai Forest conflict. Earth! (Because Sabér's practically an Earth Mage!) Fire! (Because Sekkin's a Fire Mage! And sort of a Wind Mage, too.) Other things! It doesn't make the arc shorter, but it makes it a lot more interesting and dynamic. The way I drew the whole fight scene, it's either too cute or too corny. I think I'll redo it all sometime in the distant future.

Enchantma's organization Drawing for Charity needs more artists! And you might be one! Check it out!
And I request you go and love on Negshin right now. ;x; <3

Updated! Page 86, TWC and Buzz Incentives, Page Notes

Hey! It's Monday somewhere right now. I think I'm changing the update schedule to Mondays and Thursdays. It's a lot easier on me. (But in a way not... Ah, but there's no perfect schedule.)

Again with the lack of color. But good news, 85 is done now, and ten times better. 83 remains in a limbo of semi-decency and flatness. I'll get around to that. (Spring Break in a week! Yay for time to do things!)
This page probably would have been added sooner had I not redrawn the last panel. The original was really bad, and I won't settle for comparitively weak panels anymore! I liked this page too much for 1/5th of it to be crap.

I've never known anyone to be like Mune in this instance, and I myself am far from it. If I did output lots of emotion however, I'd probably be like this ocassionally, because sometimes you just can't be bothered to move. On that note, I really don't know what people did for this in olden times...

...Anyway, the new incentives... Great for those of you who love Random Unrelated Art. I've used two of my novel's characters for two projects in my illustration class. I must like them more than I think. Hee, but TWC's my shoujo-but-not "freedom" themed picture featuring the novel's main character (and artistic nudity), and Buzz's a character sheet of the second main character. They both need a lot of touching up but I like them. One's incredibly watermarked for paranoia. >>`

Updated! Page 85

I haven't done the color fills yet. I'll do that tomorrow. Me sleepy. Since it's not finished, though, I should explain a few things. Panel 3 (one of my all-time favorite panels, something I've wanted to draw for a LONG TIME) would be backlit with lightning from the storm, hence the KRACKOOM. By the way, KRACKOOM is my favorite sound effect ever. I hate it, but it's great! So I had to use it! Really, what kind of sound effect is that? Also, I hope you can read the handwritten text boxes. I'm thinking of just making them type, hmm, maybe you can tell me if you like it or not. (Ronou's handwriting = basically my handwriting but sharper. I guess!)
Anyway, tomorrow I might also have 83 shaded and maybe a new Sabér picture, because I really want to draw him for some reason. Oh, and the chibi valentine's now in the gallery. *almost forgot about it*

And, check out this boredom-made Millennium Frappr map.

Updated! Page 84, Page Notes, Buzz Vote Incentive, Links, Poll, (WCL vote incentive)

EDIT! New WCL incentive! It was Aquilo's idea, and a good one at that. A close-up of panel 1, where we see Ronou's stick-figure of Sabér. In color, no less.

Yay, updates! Now is a great time to begin sticking with Millennium, because stuff will actually happen... :D After this sequence.
Page 84; a page I really didn't want to do, but came out better than I expected. Yay! Listen to me blather about it? This sequence coming up is one I greatly enjoy, and I hope you will, too. I've enjoyed drawing the next few pages. <3

I keep forgetting to mention this: I made this Millennium Frappr map thingy a while back when I found it through Ophy! You should join it...maybe. I just made it out of boredom! Don't worry, I won't stalk you. Too lazy.

New links = Sungsteel and Sentimental Horde! Sungsteel's just starting. Get 'em while they're young! Also apparently reminiscent of steampunk. Sentimental Horde is a RPG parody. I like those, apparently! Of course, this one actually holds my attention.

There's a new Buzz incentive and a new poll. Yay for random!
Also, your comments on OnlineComics make me all melty inside. Thank you! <3

Updated! Arc 01 summary, Arc II-A cover, Page Notes, (Vote Incentives)

EDIT!!! New Vote Incentives... It's the start of the month, AKA a great time to vote! So please show your support... Besides, I know you want to see Hat*Ronou (and snow-hood Sabér?), and more zaniness from the terrifying lovely Melii!

It's the cover, which actually has some relevance to something that happens later in this chapter! See notes, and/or read Arc 01's summary, lest you forget something.

I might touch this up more later, again. Tired. ~O~ I still haven't shaded 83. Didn't have time to - but I will! And again, I might not have an update ready Wednesday. So sorry~
Kassie got the kiriban! Yay! And thank you, everyone, for 50,000 hits <3 :3 Here's for 50,000 more, huh?! I'm gonna make a picture for Kassie as well as another one...hopefully! Wish me luck @_@`!
And there's no new incentives, but please vote anyway <3

There's a Comixpedia entry now, one that I hope provides useful information for someone! The info there is actually more updated and interesting than what's currently in my World Info sections, and I have to remedy that sometime soon. ()

I haven't updated my links in a while, so here are a few. Strange Academy has people with animal ears and tails, so of course I had to read it. But there's a lot more coming for it, I think. Dreaming of Eden is a "pictureless comic", and somehow, in some way, it works. You may like it, maybe not, but take a look at least.
Oh yes, and Cold Dream 0, lf's new comic based on an old one, is beautiful. Read it argh!

Updated! Pages 82 and 83, TWC and Buzz incentives, Page Notes

Okaaay, yaaar! It was hard work, but I did it! Pages 82 and 83, as promised. Took me way too long to redo 82, oh well. I was going to shade 83 too, but I think I will later, because I'm tired. There're several things to be touched up/fixed there. ~O~ Read about my trial?
Guh... I'm sure I'll pick out all the things I did wrong in 82 later on. *sleepy* Darned color. And, I need to redo my archives. Probably my gallery, too. I don't really want to take down any of my old art, crappy as it may be (hey, see how much I improved? See how far I must go?), but this is plain creepy. When did Sabér ever have light skin?? Oh gosh that picture hurts, maybe I'll take it down. I think it was my first Millennium CG though.

For those of you who voted development-y things for vote incentives, TWC now features something I drew, er, because someone asked me too. XD Actually it's not all that developy... See, there's not really much more for me to develop about Sarn. But it also doubles as cute!
And Buzz is another attempt at a 2A cover that turned into small thumbnail spout. Haha, I'm terrible at making covers. It'll be more than Generic Character Pinup though! (I like what I've decided on...LOL)

There will probably not be an update on Wednesday, as I've got some things to do, which amongst unsaid required things includes making Cover 2A look good, and keeping my sanity with Animal Crossing.

OH!! The KIRIBAN is coming up in less than 800 hits...so peel your eyes! The counter's at the bottom of the site, so glance down there every so often!

<3Tuesday, February 14, 2006<3
<3Updated! Gallery! Character profiles! WCL incentive!<3

<3HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!<3

I know many people don't much care for this day, but in the spirit of fun, I hope this made you smile! Because I sure had fun making it.<3
And I'm pretty sure that's the only time I'll ever use that font, lol.
For those of you who voted CUTE things in the current poll, you'll definitely like my extra valentine in the new WCL incentive! :3
I also added Sarn's profile today. Doesn't really say much, but you should keep it in mind!

On that note, I'm not sure if I'll get to update tomorrow, but I definitely will by Thursday.

Sunday, February 12, 2006
Updated! Page 81, Page Notes

Ta-da, page 81. This was fun to do. First page with less crappy panel layouts, although still it was drawn a few months back. Oi. Words rehashed here.

This arc finally ends in two pages, so I need to think up a cover for 2A. Hmm!
I'm going to put up Sarn's profile next update, although he won't show up again for a while after this scene. :(

Updated! Gallery!

Yay! Ronou's birthday is today. I forgot his birthday last year (poor thing, his first real birthday), so I decided to do something somewhat decent this time. Er... I don't think I'll keep drawing him this way though, lol. *likes him in the layout picture more*

Of course, for whatever reason Ronou Day is also some day later this year. Being the main character he should get more attention, huh? (Yeah, that's what he likes to hear.)

Wednesday, February 8, 2006
Updated! Page 80, Page Notes, Links, Minor Characters, Poll, WCL incentive

Tada! First page with lines done in Painter since the old really crappy pages. I know how to do better now! Interesting things here. Also, updated the Minor Characters page with semi-old characters and newer ones.

New Link = BlueHell! It's a very new comic (and I mean VERY new), and you should know I adore new comics. Detailed, made in Flash!

I fixed a bunch of broken links in the galleries, both mine and fanart. Now there should be NOTHING broken on the site... except random stuff in the old updates section that I really don't care about.

While I only updated the WCL incentive, I encourage you to keep voting for all listings <3 Me, I'm feeling awfully motivated! On that note, the new poll will help me know what's good for incentives. Personally, when it comes to those I'm not very picky, but it's good to know what others think! Of course, I'm open to suggestions. It's usually random buuut...

Guess whose birthday it is in two days?

Updated! Page 79, TWC incentive

Yay! I like this page more than the last. Probably for the first panel. It looked pretty bad before I fixed it up though. I might do some more little tweaking but this is basically it.

New TWC incentive, yay! I was experimenting. It was going to be someone else, but I made it Sab because I didn't wanna cover that anatomy with clothes, so I needed a 90% clothesless character. Of course, I could have drawn Henriku. Anyway, I also switched the old TWC incentive to WCL.

A fairly simple solution to my layout problems was to flip the picture. Of course, I'd thought of this before, but because of bad planning back when I drew this, it doesn't look as good flipped. I hope some of you still like it anyway!
I was going to change the poll today, but not enough people have voted. C'mon, this is something I'm really considering!

Wednesday, February 1, 2006
Updated! Page 78, Poll, Fanart, TWC and WCL incentives!

EDIT! To Touch the Sky minicomic moved to Extras for now. Voting buttons moved up. WCL and TWC vote incentives changed! It seems they're all practice page sketches now, lol... I'll change them again next update.

Yay, aren't you glad a new page is up? I sure am. This is so much better now than it would have been back when I actually drew it. So many corrections. There're some interesting things in the page notes, if you read those sorts of things.

Shamdu drew Ronou! He's got a biiig grin! So him.

No new incentives! But it's a new month, so please vote! Pretty please? With cherries?
Background = switched back until I fix it!
New poll = something I've wondered for a little while. 'Cause, you know, apparently Drunkduck is back.
Super-plug to Mischief & Mayhem, which is a very good read for people with a sick sense of humor. Not that mine's very sick; it's just very disturbing at its core. It's not horribly grotesque though, which is why I like it. <3 David Hutchison really knows how to take manga influence and make it his own thing. Mad props.

Next update Sunday, or at the latest Tuesday if I happen to skip a beat. I hope I won't though; that'll kinda throw things off.
Random: The Guestbook lately has been spammed to hell every day. And this is what ends up in one of my emails. *sad* I can clear them quite easily, but it keeps happening every day now, and it's kind of really annoying. I'd get a new one, but I doubt it'd help from what I've seen on others.

Updated! Mune Interview, gallery

Mune interview!
So, what's Mune got to say...?!

Remember this picture? I found a way to incorporate it into the layout, as you can see (and if you can't, refresh), but it's not working with resolutions smaller than my randomly large one. () Er. Gonna need to tweak that. (Note: This is how it should look.) Anyway, there's the regular version. Note that the background's nowhere near finished. (Although it might just remain that way. =_=;) When/if I finish it there'll be a wallpaper.

Updated! TTTS Page 6 (final)

Cover ~ 1 ~ 2 ~ 3 ~ 4 ~ 5

Hiatus Month Update 10! It's the last page of To Touch the Sky, a random mini-comic I did!
This six-page minicomic was made in November as my final for Illustration I. It took a very long time, for some reason. There are still things to fix before I give it its own site; for instance, the kanji on the cover is wrong and terribly generic! I may in fact remove it. That or the romaji, definitely. Also, there isn't enough variation and contrast in the shading and lighting (it really bugs me now). There were some inconsistensies in the last pages, too. It'll be fixed up sometime before the summer. After all, I do like it.

The sixth page! Also with mistakes that need a-fixin'. Originally the sky was going to be done with clouds similar to the cover's, but it came out looking worse, so I left it like this. Yes, also my favorite page. Wings were very hard to do. Woooosh! I'm kinda sad this is the last page. When TTTS gets its own site, I might consider doing more... although Henriku at his very core is filled with angst and doesn't seem to like being any other way. I will have special art bits for the site, anyway. I like drawing him.

Update TOMORROW with Mune Interview and slightly spiffed-up icons for the White Lightning interview, buh.

The Fight Omake was updated, so you might wanna vote for Melii to see it, huh?!

Friday, January 27, 2006
Updated! TTTS Page 5, Poll, random stuff!

Cover ~ 1 ~ 2 ~ 3 ~ 4

Hiatus Month Update 9! The fifth page! I liked this a lot before I colored it. x_x Of course, it looks better here than it did in print - utter crap in print. Also, the "tmp tmp tmp" didn't come out quite right. o.O` But, er, yes, inconsistencies start. Ignoring those, there's a new poll about Henriku just above the tagboard.

In a bit of free time today I messed around with elouai's doll maker! Haha, these look terrible (I sorta rushed), so I'm gonna mess around some more next week. They crack me up though. Mune's got wings if you click on her.

Also, guess who did the next Fight Omakepage?! You might have forgotten all about it, but the Fight Omake, started by Lady Yates, perpetuated by Blix, and eventually continued by Negshin and I, now has a new terror! And that terror is Melii! <3

While I'm still babbling on, I'll say that I really appreciate all the support I've been getting lately! <3 It makes me all mooshy. If you like Millennium now, you'll definitely like it more soon, so please, stick around! Also, random shoutout to Jason, whom I sit next to on a regular basis! Hello you!

This week's links: Yokaj Studio, Gryphon Masters, SugarStars, and A Heart's Despair!

It seems I'll have a lot on my plate this semester. I'm still going to try to start updating Sundays and Wednesdays starting February 1st!

Updated! TTTS Page 4, links

Cover ~ 1 ~ 2 ~ 3

Hiatus Month Update 8! The fourth page! This is my favorite page of the entire minicomic, with page six at a close second. It features a younger Prince Henriku and a tragic past event of his kingdom. (That's why the sky is SCARY, folks) The last panel's smoke is one of my favorite things I've done, and I've needed to mess with it again. This and my next two pages came out like absolute crap in print to turn in though. Boo inkjets, boo.

Random: In case you missed it, I fixed the first page in the archive, so it actually works now. x_X! More random ~ classes are going to kill me. In a good way! I do hope I'll be able to keep my update schedule.

Updated! TTTS Page 3, links

Cover ~ 1 ~ 2

Hiatus Month Update 7! The third page! This is the page I have the least qualms with of all six. Well, that and the sixth one. Almost got a little crammed however.
On another note, I found out my first page in the archive wasn't er, there, which means it must not have been there since November. Crap. Well, that's fixed now. Not that it's anything special. I might redo it.

The links, where do they keep coming from?!
Yokaj Studio, with a whole bunch of really good and well-thought-out short stories and comic strips from various people! I haven't read them all yet, but I love what I've seen.
Gryphon Masters, full color fantasy with gryphons! A really good story about to turn into more. (<3 I like reading young comics!)
Also linked this week: SugarStars & A Heart's Despair!

Updated! TTTS Page 2, links

Cover ~ One

Hiatus Month Update 6! The second page! The last panel didn't come out as well as I'd wanted it to. I made a few errors and dragonperson came out too small. I also had issues with the larger dragon since I didn't draw his body. () Didn't know how to. I do now, though. The mist was going to be ther either way but I had to lay it on thick. Mmm, didn't come out like my mind saw it, but still good.
If I ever colored Millennium officially it'd be like this page (except a little better), but this took so horribly long to do...

Random: I passed the official JanNoWriMo goal, so all I need to do now is finish up my novel and proofread it incredibly. () I tend to proofread things as I go along, but something's always overlooked.
I'll try to start updating pages Sundays and Wednesdays starting February 1st. Yay!

Updated! TTTS Page 1, links

Hiatus Month Update 5! I'm a fan of the first two pages. Hehehe. After that it's kinda like "wtf". Heh, if I ever colored Millennium officially it'd be like this page (except a little better), but this took horribly long to do...

From all these new links, you might get the impression that all I do in my free time lately is read webcomics. ...And you'd be right. I call it "catching up on what I've missed out on" really! Fun!
SugarStars, incredibly shoujo! I don't think you can get more shoujo than this. But I really like the story - it's essentially very sad. Yay sadness!
I linked to A Heart's Despair yesterday. You should still read it!

Updated! TTTS Cover, links, WCL and TWC vote incentives!

Hiatus Month Update 4! I'll be updating every day this week with To Touch the Sky, a random mini-comic by me! You'll only get to see it this week (until it launches elsewhere way off from now), so lookee!

This six-page minicomic was made in November as my final for Illustration I. And it took way longer to make than it should have. Waaay longer. There are still things to fix before I give it its own site; for instance, the kanji on this cover is wrong and horribly ugly to boot! I may in fact remove it. That or the romaji. Also, there isn't enough variation and contrast in the shading and lighting. There were some inconsistensies in the last pages, too. It will all be fixed sometime. Probably not soon though. I sure got tired of looking at it.
I guess I still like it overall though! It'll be better when I do fix it!

What's an update without links?
A Heart's Despair is a really cute and fun comic! I do want to see more! <3

In other news, I wonder if I write in this blog space too much. When'd I get so talkative?! Oh well, extra reading if you are so inclined. While you're here, I'll mention I may be publishing a novel through Lulu.com pretty soon. It's exciting! Also, I may start updating Sundays and Wednesdays after February 1st. Yay!

Updated! Chero guest pages, links

Guest Art Month Update 3! Guest pages from Chero! I actually received the first page months ago and put it up, but here it is again. It was from back when I ran the "Why is Sekkin so cranky?" poll. The popular response was "Sabér ruined his bonsai garden"! And so, this is born! These pages are so cute <3 I love the second page. XD Thank you Chero!
Also, Kassie made the colored version of her pic! Yay!

Here hosts Shiru's random minicomic The Cost is Correct! Lots of my favorite webcomic characters are there, as well as Ronou and Mune! Parodies were never so good!

Since Snaga kept bugging me, the shoutbox is back in full on the main page! To the bottom. I don't know why I just didn't do that sooner. Oh well, there you go. :o I might reposition it. I forgot how to get the purposeful longways shoutbox. :x *dumb*
Also, a thanks to everyone who's faved me on Online Comics, 'cause it just passed 50! Yay, thanks for your support!<3 I'll do something more celebratory for favs when I get to 100, tee-hee.

The links keep on coming!
Exiled Dreams is strange! That is by no means a bad thing. It's still a young story, but I want to see where it goes! Parts that are colored are really nice. <3
No Rest for the Wicked is perhaps one of the best-written and most uniquely-styled comics out there. I finally found out why it has so many fans - wowies. You owe it to yourself to read it.
Haru-Sari = one word: daaayum. (Doesn't do it justice. Read it.)

Next update Sunday! I'll be running a 6-page minicomic that has nothing to do with anything! (It's what I spent my time on in November.)
Right now, my novel's at nearly 44,000 words. That's ahead of the game! I can't become complacent, though. Gotta keep moving!
I feel kind of unfocused artwise. If I can just *complete* a few decent pictures and decide on a style for Millennium, I'll be fine for the time. Oh man, but being an artist is hard (especially on top of being a writer). u_u`

Updated! CGAD & Violent Pink fanart, links (x7!), vote incentives, poll

Guest Art Month Update 2! Pictures from CGAD and Violent Pink! Thanks guys! I actually received CGAD's picture a long time ago, but I just realized I never put it in the gallery! ;x; I don't know why, whether it may have been too spoilerish (which it kindasorta is) or what, but OH WELL here it is. :D Way too good to hide. And VP's picture was an awesome secret santa. Both C and Violent Pink are part of Satellite Soda's forums, which is an awesome community full of awesome artists who are awesome. Have I numbed the word? Seriously though, you can't afford to not check it out, if you're an artist or an art fan.

Last update I failed to mention that you should go here, especially now, because there is a mini-comic of Shiru's which along with many other characters you should be familiar with has Ronou and Mune! Yay!

Another thing you can't afford to not check out are these comics, most of which I read in several sittings Thursday while procrastinating!

RAnSOM ~ BL (look it up). Very very cute. Heavily toned. I can tell it's going to get very very complicated. At least, I hope so.
KiraStar ~ Another gaming comic that tickles my fancy! I've needed one since VG Cats. Funny stuff here!
Crimson Prophecy ~ It's really loose with its style. I like that. Hmm, surreal too... Though only to a certain extent. Starts off cliché but don't let it stop you from enjoying it. (I can't really describe it.)
Fairy Touch ~ I rejoice when I find a mahou shoujo that doesn't tear my soul out. (You have to bear with it, though.) The way the magical pages are executed, it literally sucked me in. Fairies and evil genies!
Asheron ~ A Czech comic! Available in English of course, or I would have been very lost. Not that it's too dialogue-dependant. It's very simple so far and has a very unique style. Very different than what I've been seeing, and that's nice. Fuzzy dragons!
Phantasmagoria ~ BL. Very pretty, and very, hmm, elegant. And for that reason I will watch where it goes! More than pretty vampires?!
SEED ~ Valendra's other comic which has a very interesting premise. Thus I watch!

So that should keep you busy while I'm away!
My incentives should too! I never change them this fast usually, but I like these! The new poll gives me more random interesting information. Much like the last one I can pretty much guess the outcome, but I'd like to be surprised!

Next update Tuesday! I've come up with more things to post this month!
I'm not sure if I ever mentioned it here, but regular pages are on hiatus because classes are starting, and I'm writing a 50,000 word novel. For JanNoWriMo! Since NaNo was a no-go. I want to focus on those things, but come February Millennium returns, and much bigger and better than it was before. (See: practice page.) <3

Updated! Kassie & Jo fanart, link banners, vote incentives

First update of the new year! And what way to kick it off but with fanart! Guest Month START!

Mmm, filling the comicless void. Here we've got stuff from Kassie and Jo. Which means today is also Cute Day! <3 A colored version of Kassie's picture is coming soon, yay! And thank you both!!

Also, I finished my second decent Mune picture. Huzzah! I might do more things to it, but it's kind of old anyway. So, consequently, there are new banners, and I took down a lot of the old ones. I highly reccomend you using those instead. <3

Guess what? Reuben Dante is back! It's one of few sprite comics I like, for one reason or another. <3 Also, Elf Help is funny. It's funny, because it's wrong. Ha.

By the way, I'm still taking guest stuff, especially for this month!
Next update's Saturday! But don't wait until then to vote...check out the new incentives! (Yay sketchy unfinished things!)
