Arc I Recap!

Ronou and Mune's first quest is cut short as chasms ripped open from earthquakes block the path to the Great Plains' final plateau! Turning away from that area in hopes they can return later, Ronou decides to cut through the forest on their way to the Tornado Mountains, and the forest is beautiful - although within it lurks many mysteries. They are nearly eaten by Schalah, the Snake Queen; but they are saved by a mysterious Booman who then disappears, to later return to save them when Ronou and Mune intrude upon the complex Booman village Woodfall. A large conflict ensues between the leader, Sekkin, and the Humans' savior (Sabér), and the chaos increases when the Red Crested Boas revolt for the death of their queen! Mune and Ronou help as much as they can, but ultimately they run after Sabér is banished from the entire forest.

With nowhere to go, Sabér shakes off his sadness and follows Ronou and Mune!

Meanwhile, a mysterious woman in an even more mysterious syndicate has seen this and gives the okay for her people to give Ronou and Mune the axe. (Of course, Sarn would rather do it himself.)

In short: Earthquakes, forests, snakes, Boomen, big fights, party expansion. And syndicates, of course.
