Hello.
How are you today?
I'm fine, thanks for asking!
Well, let me go ahead. What has your life been like growing up? Do you have any siblings?
My life has been good. It's a calm, quiet life for everyone in the village. Unfortunately I don't have any siblings, but Ronou's kind of like a brother to me...
How long have you known him?
Oh, all my life. We started playing together when we were babies, and we've just always been together, I guess.
Does he do anything that really grates your nerves?
People ask me that a lot. I don't know why, he's not that intolerable. ...Although he used to suck his teeth a lot after eating seeds. That would annoy me SO MUCH... Call it a pet peeve, but gah. Use a toothpick or something. ...Uh, but, he's okay. Even after 16 years. Could work on his ideas a little more...
He seems to reckessly put himself in the line of fire. Did you have any hesitation about accompanying him on his mission?
I really didn't want to let him go alone. He needed a Healer, and a partner. I didn't really care what was out there, as long as I was with him. Besides... We'd never really been apart for long periods of time, and I really wanted to accompany him from the start... I'm glad I did, too. He needs support. And he's not reckless, he just doesn't think things through sometimes. Which could be good sometimes, but bad most of the time...
Being the female, not to mention a Healer, do you ever consider your role in all of this sexist?
No! Well, I consider it unfair. It's not my fault almost all the females are taught Healing! Some people consider it preposterous to have a male Healer... Grah. Maybe it IS sexist. At least I take what I do seriously. (sigh) I really wish more females would do this adventure thing though. Do you know what it's like hanging around two men 24/7? You start to stink yourself, and gunk gets under your fingernails.
What do you like to do in your free time when you have no men to dirty your fingertails?
I actually spend most of my time with Ronou. ...But I guess if I wasn't with him, I was with my friend Hayley. Yeah, I guess she was my best non-male friend. She's a sweetheart. I also used to hang out with a girl named Arisa, long ago... She did a lot to shape who I am, thinking back. But anyway, we did a lot of things that we thought were exciting that others might think wastes of time. What counts is that we enjoyed it, anyway.
Like what?
Well, once we...Well, the village kids, we all went into the small nearby forest to have a little "adventure." Yes, that's what we spent our spare time doing. I'll spare you the details, but the end result? Not fun. We also did a lot of work... churning butter becomes fun after a while.
What's your most treasured possession?
Hmm... It would be this locket, definitely. There aren't many things materially that I hold much value in... but this locket, I love it. Ronou gave it to me for my 14th birthday. I still haven't figured out what picture to put inside of it. I have to choose carefully, you know... because film is so rare here, and I only have a few to choose from.
Ronou seems to mean quite a deal to you. Have you ever fancied a relationship with him?
N...No! I mean... He's always been just like a brother... or like a really good friend, you know? But...I wouldn't...no.
If you could travel anywhere your heart desired, where would you like to go?
Oh! I'd go all sorts of places. It'd be nice to go to Aldea, but Barud would be even nicer. Barud has Elves, you know. Elves! There aren't any here. I'd like to meet one. Of course, Aldea has more pretty beaches... It's more near the equator. Oh, now I can't make up my mind... Of course, Ronou would go to Madeus, so I guess I'd go there, too...
