The Characters
Mune Kitian

"It's not just about being a part of the environment. As a Water Mage, you have to have insight as well."
MUNE Kitian (moon KI-shan), a Healer/Water Mage born in Dogwood Village, is very blue-oriented, having glossy sky blue eyes and mostly blue clothing. Her hair is lavender but looks pinkish in bright light. Her height is 5'6", making her just a bit taller than Ronou (to his chagrin). Like her best friend, she is of pure-blooded Human race as well as right-handed. Her blood type is AB, and her birthday is 16 Ilumi (December 16th), which also happens to be her favorite time of year. Unlike most people, she loves veggies. She primarily uses wands to fight (though better for healing), but rods aren't bad.
She is calm and lets others take care of situations if they can, but she will do what she has to if her peers are slacking up. She can be a bit overbearing at times. She tends to know more than most people do in terms of history or how things work (spent a lot of time reading, which her peers did not seem too particularly interested in), but this kind of knowledge is often lost on Ronou, drawing out their issues. When irritated, she tends to start shutting others out. She retains information well and is also a very good judge of character.
She lived a life as simple as Ronou's, their village a small and peacable one. She has known Ronou all her life, and the two are like brother and sister. She spent most of her life training alongside Ronou, leaning to manipulate water and Healing techniques in addition. Although her parents never intended for her to set off with Ronou, she had never seen it any other way—she was training to help him.
Mune's Mage Paint: Mune's simple circular dots, light blue and just below the outer corners of her eyes, work well with her face. She did not want anything too elaborate or obtrusive. Ronou considers them a little plain and common, but what does he know?
Mune's Dress: Elaborate and well-fitting, Mune was given this dress on her sixteenth birthday as a gift and a sign of her accomplishment as a young Mage. Blue has always been her color, but around the village she had to wear more subdued colors, until now.
Sen's Blab on Mune: She's vital, but for some reason I never liked her as much as my other characters. I think she's confusing, like most women. She doesn't show it, but she can be complicated herself when things don't involve Ronou. In the comic's redesign, I tried to make her more visually interesting (she was supposed to be "plain" before...what fun is that for a main character in this kind of comic?). Hopefully it'll spur more inspiration towards her other aspects.
Mune has been adopted by Snaga!
